Use Kraft - Visible Image April 2026 ATC Swap

‘Use Kraft’ is the theme for the April 2026 ATC swap over on the Visible Image Facebook page. I really don’t use enough Kraft card in my makes usually gravitating to white card for all my backgrounds. So, for my ATC I chose to use the ‘Sketched Tulips’ and ‘Life is Beautiful’ stamp sets as well as the ‘Windows’ stencil to try out a new craft experience!

To start, I took an ATC sized piece of Kraft card and stamped the text from the ‘Sketched Tulips’ set onto the background using Versafine Clair ‘Sand Dunes’ beige ink before heat embossing with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. The ‘Windows’ stencil was then placed over the top and ‘Vintage Photo’ distress ink brushed gently through it to cover the corners of the ATC.

Up next, the main floral image from ‘Sketched Tulips’ stamp set was stamped onto the background using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink and heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. Other elements from the stamp set were then stamped out onto the ATC in the same way. ‘Candied Apple’ and ‘Bundled Sage’ distress oxides were used to colour in the tulip and leaves before the flower was heat embossed with Versamark and Ranger Ultra Thick embossing powder.

To complete the ATC, the sentiment from ‘Life is Beautiful’ was stamped onto some black card using Versamark before being heat embossed with Wow superfine opaque bright white embossing powder. This was then fussy cut out.

Finally, the sentiment was stuck to the ATC using some 3D mounts and acrylic glue. White ink and ‘Frayed Burlap’ distress spritz spray add a little further interest to the ATC.

If you like getting outside of your crafty comfort zone I can recommend taking part in the Visible Image ATC swap over on its Facebook page. I’m really not confident in using Kraft card in my makes usually using white card for all my creations. For the card I sent to accompany my ATC (with the ‘Use Kraft’ theme) I chose to use the ‘Sketched Tulips’ as well as the ‘Windows’ stencil to have a go!
