Sparkle and Shine - Visible Image ATC Swap December 2025

ATC

'Sparkle and Shine’ is the theme for the December 2025 ATC swap over on the Visible Image Facebook page. I took inspiration from a Christmassy/wintry day for my little ATC this month using the ‘Christmas Eve’ and ‘Sketched Stars’ stamp sets. Both available from Visible Image.

To begin, I took an ATC sized piece of white card and sprayed it with ‘Tumbled Glass’ and ‘Shaded Lilac’ distress spray stains before splattering with a few water droplets and going around the edge of the ATC with both colours in distress ink. The tree-scape from the ‘Christmas Eve’ set was stamped onto the ATC using Versafine Clair ‘Very Peri’ purple ink (2nd generation). The larger tree was then stamped over the top using the same ink. This was then heat embossed with the very sparkly Wow ‘Lavender Ice’ embossing powder. A little ‘Kitsch Flamingo’ distress ink was added behind the tree-scape to make the trees pop.

Up next, the sentiment from the ‘Sketched Stars’ set was stamped onto the ATC using the ‘Very Peri’ ink and heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder.

Finally, a few Posca white paint splatters and quite a few sparkly gems were added for additional wintry glamour.

Card

Wow it’ll soon be Christmas Day so I’m back to share the ‘Sparkle and Shine’ card I made for the December 2025 ATC swap over on the Visible Image Facebook page. I took inspiration from a Christmassy/wintry day for the card as well as my little ATC this month using the ‘Christmas Eve’ and ‘Sketched Stars’ stamp sets.

To begin, I took a piece of white card and sprayed it with ‘Tumbled Glass’ and ‘Shaded Lilac’ distress spray stains before splattering with a few water droplets and going around the edge of the background with both colours in distress ink. The tree-scape from the ‘Christmas Eve’ set was stamped onto the card using Versafine Clair ‘Very Peri’ purple ink (2nd generation). The larger and smaller trees were then stamped out using the same ink. These were heat embossed with the glitzy Wow ‘Lavender Ice’ embossing powder. Some‘Kitsch Flamingo’ distress ink was added behind the tree-scape to make the trees stand out.

Up next, the sentiment from the ‘Sketched Stars’ set was stamped onto some white card with the ‘Very Peri’ ink and heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. The sentiment was fussy cut out and edged with ‘Kitsch Flamingo’ distress ink and coloured in with ‘Tumbled Glass’ distress ink. This was then layered onto some white hammered cardstock.

Finally, some Posca white paint splatters, the sentiment and quite a few sparkly gems were added for additional wintry sparkle! The background was then layered onto some white hammered card (edged in 'Kitsch Flamingo' distress ink) and a white card blank.

I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge this month. Thanks to Jane Tyrrell for another brilliant ATC swap and I can’t wait till the next one.
