Santa Visit

 

He’s on his way!! Time to close the doors on my craft room for 2025 and say hello to Christmas! Thanks for all the crafty love over the last year & I look forward to sharing with you some new and exciting things in 2026.

For my final make of 2025 Santa is visiting and it wouldn’t be the festive season without a sprinkling of Tim Holtz joy!

I started by taking a white Dina Wakley tag and smooshed this into some ‘Mowed Lawn’ and ‘Rustic Wilderness’ distress ink. I then stamped one of the elements from the ‘Santa Visit’ stamp set from Stampers Anonymous onto the background using the same ‘Rustic Wilderness’ distress ink. The layering stencil was placed over the top and again some of the same colour distress ink was brushed through it lightly before some ‘Fossilized Amber’ distress spritz spray and Posca white paint splatters added more to the background.

On a separate piece of card I stamped the Santa with Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink and heat embossed using Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. This was fussy cut out and coloured in with watercolours and a wink of stella glitter pen – lots of sparkle!

Finally, the tag was mounted onto some black and white hammered card. Santa, some sparkly gems, spare holly die cuts, idea-ology Christmas greeting stickers, idea-ology Christmas ephemera and gold ribbon were added to finish the tag with a festive flourish.

A super fun make and super easy too. Happy Christmas & here’s to a very crafty 2026!
