Autumn Vibes - Visible Image ATC Swap - October 2025

ATC

‘Autumn Vibes’ is the theme for the October 2025 ATC swap over on the Visible Image Facebook page. The weather has been rather dreary this week – plenty of rain, puddles and crispy leaves windswept from the trees. These stormy deep blues and the yellowing of nature inspired my ATC this month. For this make I’ve used the brand new ‘Counting Moments’ stamp set alongside the ‘Erika’s Maple’ stamp set. All available from Visible Image.

To begin, I took an ATC sized piece of white card and blended ‘Antique Linen’, ‘Mustard Seed’ and ‘Scattered Straw’ distress inks over the ATC before splattering with a few water droplets before going around the edge of the ATC with ‘Tea Dye’ distress ink. One of the leaves from the ‘Erika’s Maple’ stamp set was then added to the background using ‘Wild Honey’ distress ink. The small numbers background stamp from the ‘Counting Moments’ stamp set was added over the top in ‘Tea Dye’ distress ink.

Up next, the main clock/butterfly wing stamped image from the ‘Counting Moments’ stamp set was created with Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink before heat embossing with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. This was repeated on a separate piece of white card before the butterfly wing was fussy cut out and coloured with ‘Faded Jeans’ and ‘Chipped Sapphire’ distress ink. The ATC and fussy cut butterfly were then spritzed with ‘Fossilized Amber’ distress spritz spray and some Posca white paint splatters. The smallest butterfly from the same set was stamped onto the ATC using the same black ink. The other butterfly was stamped onto a separate piece of white card and coloured with the same blue inks before being fussy cut out and added to the ATC.

Finally, for the sentiment – this was stamped onto a separate piece of white card using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink before heat embossing with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. This was fussy cut out and layered on top of the butterfly using 3D mounts and acrylic glue. A few sparkly gems were added for additional interest. You may also spot a little white gel pen and wink of stella pen for some sparkle!

I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge this month. Thanks to Jane Tyrrell for another brilliant ATC swap and I can’t wait till the next one.
