Summer Love - June 2025 Visible Image ATC Swap (2)

My ATCs are like buses this month…one comes along and then another follows! ‘Summer Love’ is the theme for the June 2025 ATC swap over on the Visible Image Facebook page. This month I feel very fortunate to be given 2 swap partners so here’s my second ATC I made using the ‘Precious Life’ and ‘Butterfly Effect’ stamp sets.

To begin, I took an ATC sized piece of white card and dipped it into some ‘Picked Raspberry’ and ‘Wilted Violet’ distress ink I had smooshed onto a craft mat. Some water was then spritzed over the top. Background elements from the ‘Precious Life’ stamp set were stamped onto the ATC using the same coloured distress inks.

Up next, the main floral image from ‘Precious Life’ was stamped onto the ATC using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink before heat embossing with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. A duplicate was stamped onto another piece of white card in the same way before fussy cutting out the flower and leaves.

The sentiment from the ‘Butterfly Effect’ stamp set was stamped onto the ATC using Versamark and heat embossed with Wow superfine opaque bright white embossing powder. Some Posca white paint splatters and ‘Picked Raspberry’ distress spritz spray finished off the ATC background.

Finally, the floral elements were layered onto the ATC using 3D mounts and acrylic glue. Some wink of stella glitter pen and sparkly gems were also added for interest. I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge this month. Thanks Jane Tyrrell for another brilliant ATC swap and I can’t wait till the next one.

I’m just looking out the window and have seen so many butterflies flying about. This inspired the card I sent out with my 2nd ATC for the June ‘Summer Love’ ATC swap over on the Visible Image Facebook page. For this make I’ve used the ‘Precious Life’ and ‘Butterfly Effect’ stamp sets.

To begin, I took a piece of white card and sprayed it with ‘Picked Raspberry’ and ‘Wilted Violet’ distress strain spray. Some water was then spritzed over the top. Background elements from the ‘Precious Life’ stamp set were stamped onto the background using the same coloured distress inks.

Up next, the main floral image, sentiment and speckles from the ‘Precious Life’ stamp set was stamped onto the background using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink before heat embossing with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. A duplicate was stamped onto another piece of white card in the same way before fussy cutting out the flower and leaves. The small butterflies from the ‘Butterfly Effect’ stamp set was also stamped onto some white card in the same way.

A splattering of white Posca paint and ‘Picked Raspberry’ distress spritz spray add a penultimate bit of glamour.

Finally, the floral elements were layered onto the card using 3D mounts and acrylic glue. Some wink of stella glitter pen and sparkly gems were also added for interest.
