Summer Love - June 2025 Visible Image ATC Swap

‘Summer Love’ is the theme for the June 2025 ATC swap over on the Visible Image Facebook page. This month I was really lucky to be given 2 swap partners which means 2 more makes – yay! My summer makes this year are going to be filled with my love of lots of bright colours! So here’s my first ATC I made using the ‘Colourful Life’, ‘Transmission Glitch’ and ‘Beautiful Life’ stamp sets.

To begin, I took an ATC sized piece of white card and blended ‘Dried Marigold’, ‘Tumbled Glass’, ‘Picked Raspberry’ and ‘Twisted Citron’ distress inks over the corners of the ATC before splattering a few water droplets over the top. Background elements from ‘The ‘Beautiful Life’ and ‘Transmission Glitch’ stamp sets were stamped onto the ATC using the same coloured distress inks as well as some ‘Carved Pumpkin’ orange distress ink. One of the elements from the ‘Colourful Life’ stamp set was added in Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink before heat embossing with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. Some ‘Fossilized Amber’ distress spritz spray and posca white paint splatters were added over the top to finish off the background.

Up next, the floral images from ‘Colourful Life’ were stamped onto a separate piece of card using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink before heat embossing with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. These were then fussy cut out and some sparkle added using a wink of stella glitter pen.

The sentiment from the same stamp set was stamped onto some black card using Versamark and heat embossed with Wow superfine opaque bright white embossing powder before fussy cutting out.

Finally, the floral elements and sentiment were layered onto the ATC using 3D mounts and acrylic glue. Some sparkly gems were also added for interest. I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge this month. Thanks to Jane Tyrrell for another brilliant ATC swap and I can’t wait till the next one.

Here’s the card I sent with my first ATC using the ‘Colourful Life’, ‘Transmission Glitch’, ‘Butterfly Effect’, ‘Little Ladybirds’ and ‘Beautiful Life’ stamp sets.
