The Great Outdoors - March 2025 Visible Image ATC Swap

‘The Great Outdoors was the theme for the March 2025 ATC swap over on the Visible Image Facebook page. For my ATC I chose to use the brand new ‘Precious Life; stamp set alongside ‘Happy Bunny’, ‘Live Life Now’, ‘Antisocial Butterfly’ and the ‘Butterfly Ink Stencil’. 

To begin, I took an ATC sized piece of white card and placed the ‘Butterfly Ink’ stencil over the top before blending ‘Cracked Pistachio’, ‘Spun Sugar’ and ‘Tumbled Glass’ distress ink through it. After removing the stencil I stamped the bunny from the ‘Happy Bunny’ stamp set onto the ATC using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink before heat embossing with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. The background butterflies are from the ‘Live Life Now’ stamp set. These were stamped onto the ATC using Versafine Clair ‘Arctic’ blue ink.

Up next I stamped a few of the small butterflies from the ‘Antisocial Butterfly’ stamp set onto another piece of white card. These were fussy cut out and inked up using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink before heat embossing with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. They were then coloured in with ‘Saltwater Taffy’, ‘Spun Sugar’ and ‘Antique Linen’ distress ink. I then repeated this for the flower from the ‘Precious Life’ stamp set.

The sentiment from the ‘Precious Life’ stamp set was then stamped onto a small piece of card using the same method as before.

Finally, the butterflies and sentiment were stuck to the ATC using 3D mounts. Some sparkly gems were also added for interest. I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge this month. Thanks Jane Tyrrell for another brilliant ATC swap and I can’t wait till the next one.

I’m not usually one for a clean and simple card but the theme for the latest Visible Image ATC swap saw me experimenting with a wide range of stamps and the fabulous ‘Butterfly Ink’ stencil. For the card along ‘The Great Outdoors’ theme I also chose to use the brand new ‘Precious Life’ stamps alongside ‘Happy Bunny’, ‘Live Life Now’, ‘Antisocial Butterfly’ sets.
