Rock Star

 

It’s time to turn up the volume on this new Music collection from Visible Image. Here’s the first sample I made for the recent release using the brilliant ‘Rock Star’ stamp set.

To begin, I took a white piece of card and sprayed it with ‘Tumbled Glass’, ‘Twisted Citron’ and ‘Squeezed Lemonade’ distress spray stain. Some water droplets were then splattered over the card background. Next up, the main image was stamped onto the background using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ ink and heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. A duplicate of the stamp was stamped onto another piece of white card in the same way and fussy cut out. Some wink of stella was added for that rock star sparkle.

Other elements from the stamp set were either stamped around the edge of the background using Versafine Clair ‘Arctic’ blue ink or around the focal image.

The sentiments from the same stamp set were then stamped onto white card using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ ink and heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. These were mounted onto black card.

Finally, the background was added to some black card and a white card blank. The focal image and sentiments were added to the card using 3D mounts. Some Posca white paint splats, distress spritz spray (Twisted Citron) and sparkly sequins and gems finish off the birthday card.
