Colourful Life & Blocked Up Tag
To begin, I took a white Dina Wakley size 8 tag and sprayed it with ‘Tumbled Glass’, ‘Shaded Lilac’ and ‘Kitsch Flamingo’ distress spray stain. Some water droplets were then splattered over the card background. Next up, the main floral image from the ‘Colourful Life’ stamp set was stamped onto the tag using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ ink and heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. I then stamped some extra blooms from the same set onto another piece of card before fussy cutting out and blending ‘Saltwater Taffy’, ‘Squeezed Lemonade’, ‘Kitsch Flamingo’ and ‘Tumbled Glass’ distress ink over them.
I then stamped elements from the ‘Blocked Up’ stamp set over the tag using a variety of embossing powders and ‘Picked Raspberry’ distress ink. The sentiment from ‘Colourful Life’ was then stamped onto a piece of black card using Versamark and heat embossed with Wow superfine opaque bright white embossing powder. This was mounted onto a piece of pink card.
Finally, the tag was added to some black card. The sentiment and additional blooms were added to the tag using 3D mounts. Some Posca white paint splats and sparkly gems were also added for added interest before a range of ribbons added that little touch of magic.
