Precious Life

Have you seen the brand new ‘Floral Life’ collection from Visible Image? For my second sample I’m sharing a card made with the absolutely beautiful ‘Precious Life’ stamp set.

All the new collection is available from Visible Image.

To begin, I took a white piece of card and sprayed it with ‘Picked Raspberry’ and ‘Wilted Violet’ distress spray stain. Some water droplets were then added for interest. Next up, the main floral image and other elements from the ‘Precious Life’ stamp set were stamped onto the background using Versamark and heat embossed with either Wow superfine opaque bright white embossing powder or sparkling snow embossing powder. The flower and other circles were then bleached out using a water-brush. This helps remove some of the colour to leave a translucent effect.

The sentiment from the same stamp set was then stamped onto a piece of card using Versafine Clair ‘Lilac Bloom’ purple ink and heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. This was mounted onto a piece of card that had been coloured with the same ink.

Finally, the background was added to some white hammered card and a white card blank. The sentiment was added to the card using 3D mounts. Some Posca white paint splats and sparkly gems were also added for added glamour.

This is a wonderful collection and is perfect for a wide-range of makes.
