Hearts and Flowers - February 2025 Visible Image ATC Swap

‘Hearts and Flowers’ was the theme for the February 2025 ATC swap over on the Visible Image Facebook page. For my ATC I chose to use the ‘Sketched Tulips’, ‘Affirmations’ and ‘Love of ATCs’ stamp sets. These are all available from Visible Image.

To begin, I took an ATC sized piece of white card and sprayed it with ‘Tumbled Glass’, ‘Twisted Citron’ and ‘Mowed Lawn’ distress spray stain. Some water droplets were then added for interest. Next up, the words from the ‘Sketched Tulip’ stamp set were stamped onto the ATC using Versafine Clair ‘Warm Breeze’ and ‘Grass Green’ inks.

Up next, the small tulips from the ‘Sketched Tulips’ were stamped onto a white piece of card using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink before heat embossing with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. These were then fussy cut out and coloured in using Zig color brushes and a wink of stella for some sparkle. A little white gel pen was also used to highlight the flowers.

For the heart – this was taken from the ‘Love of ATCs’ stamp set and stamped and fussy cut out in the same way as the tulips. However, some glossy accents were added instead of colouring in. The glossy accents then cracked but I quite liked the effect this gave to the heart.

The sentiment from the ‘Affirmations’ stamp set was then stamped onto the ATC using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink and heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder.

Finally, the tulips and the heart were stuck to the ATC using 3D mounts. Some sparkly gems were also added for interest. I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge this month. Thanks Jane Tyrrell for another brilliant ATC swap and I can’t wait till the next one.

There are certainly signs of Spring starting to emerge in the garden and this inspired my ‘Hearts and Flowers’ makes for the February 2025 ATC swap over on the Visible Image Facebook page. For the card I sent with the ATC I used the ‘Sketched Tulips’ and ‘Love of ATCs’ stamp sets.
