Colourful Life
To begin, I took a white piece of card and sprayed it with ‘Shaded Lilac’, ‘Kitsch Flamingo’, ‘Saltwater Taffy’, ‘Twisted Citron’ and ‘Squeezed Lemonade’ distress spray stain. Some water droplets were then splattered over the card background. Next up, the main floral image from the ‘Colourful Life’ stamp set was stamped out using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ ink and heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. I then stamped some extra blooms from the same set onto another piece of card before fussy cutting out and blending the same colours in distress ink over them very lightly.
One of the other elements from the stamp set was stamped around the edge of the background using Versamark and heat embossed with Wow superfine opaque bright white embossing powder.
The sentiment from the same stamp set was then stamped onto a piece of card using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ ink and heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. This was mounted onto a piece of black card.
Finally, the background was added to some black card and a white card blank. The sentiment was added to the card using 3D mounts. Some Posca white paint splats and sparkly gems were also added for added interest.
