Mr Frostie Christmas Card (2)
I started by taking a piece of white card and sprayed ‘Mowed Lawn’ and ‘Old Paper’ distress spray stain ink over it.
Once dried, I stamped some of the elements from the ‘Forest Floor 2’ set from Stampers Anonymous onto the background using Versafine ‘Spruce’ and ‘Grass Green’ ink before heat embossing with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. The Christmas words from the Stampers Anonymous mini stencil set 18 were then added to the card by blending ‘Shabby Shutters’ distress ink through the stencil. A few splatters of white ink were then added to the background.
‘Mr Frostie’ was stamped onto some white card using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink before heat embossing with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. He was then coloured in with zig color brushes and fussy cut out. The numbers from ‘Paint by Number’ were then stamped in Versafine Clair ‘Strawberry’ ink before heat embossing & fussy cutting in the same way.
Finally, the background was added to some black card and a white card mount. All the elements were added using 3D or acrylic glue. Some sparkly gems and an Idea-ology quote chip were added to finish the card
