Purr-Fect Birthday
For this make I started by spraying a 6 inch piece of white card with ‘Saltwater Taffy’, ‘Kitsch Flamingo’, ‘Tumbled Glass’ and ‘Shaded Lilac’ distress spray stain. Once dried, I cut the card in half to create 2 separate tags. For the background, I edged both tags with the celebratory stars and added the paw prints using Versafine Clair ‘Lilac Bloom’ and ‘Baby Pink’. The stars were coloured in using a white gel pen. The tags were then mounted onto black card.
Next I die cut out the ‘Torn Fishnet’ die using a spare piece of white card. This was then cut into 2 pieces and each piece stuck onto the tags using acrylic glue.
The main cat images from the ‘Purr-Fect Birthday’ stamp set were then stamped onto another piece of white card using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink before being heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. The cats were fussy cut out and coloured in using Zig color brush pens before being mounted onto the tags using 3D mounts.
Finally, the sentiments from the same stamp set were stamped and heat embossed using Versamark and Wow superfine bright white embossing powder. These were then mounted onto some spare inky coloured card before adding to the tag using 3D mounts. Peach coloured ribbons, some gems and wink of stella pen finish off the tags nicely.
