Enchanted Fairy - Visible Image ATC Swap - July 2024

ATC


‘Pretty Pastels’ is the theme for the July 2024 ATC swap over on the Visible Image Facebook page. I love colourful makes so I chose a range of pastel coloured distress ink colours for my ATC this month. They work perfectly with the ‘Enchanted Fairy’ and the ‘Butterfly Effect’ stamp & die set.

To begin, I stamped the ‘Enchanted Fairy’ onto an ATC sized card using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink before being heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. I then blended ‘Squeezed Lemonade’, ‘Saltwater Taffy’, ‘Kitsch Flamingo’, ‘Shaded Lilac’ and ‘Tumbled Glass’ distress ink around the fairy before splashing with some water droplets.

On a separate piece of card I stamped another fairy in the same way before fussy cutting out. The ‘Butterfly Effect’ die was then used to cut out a butterfly using some vellum. These were then layered onto the ATC with 3D glue before adding some further stamping around the fairy using one of the stamps from the set and a range of Versafine Clair inks (Cheerful/Lilac Bloom/Baby Pink/Summertime).

The sentiment from the ‘Butterfly Effect’ stamp set was then stamped onto a piece of card using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink and heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder before being stuck onto black card.

Finally, the sentiment, Ranger glossy accents, some wink of stella glitter pen and small sparkly gems were added for interest. I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge this month. Thanks Jane Tyrrell for another brilliant ATC swap.

Each month I really enjoy taking part in the Visible Image ATC swap. This month’s theme is ‘Pretty Pastels’. For the card I sent with the ATC I used the ‘Enchanted Fairy’, ‘Butterfly Ink’ stencil alongside and the ‘Butterfly Effect’ die set.

To begin, I stamped the ‘Enchanted Fairy’ onto a piece of white card using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink before being heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. I then placed the ‘Butterfly Ink’ stencil over the top before smoothing Distress opaque grit paste through it. Once dry, I sprayed the card with ‘Squeezed Lemonade’, ‘Saltwater Taffy’, ‘Kitsch Flamingo’, ‘Shaded Lilac’ and ‘Tumbled Glass’ and ‘Twisted Citron distress spray stain before splattering with some water droplets.

On a separate piece of card I stamped another fairy in the same way before fussy cutting out. The ‘Butterfly Effect’ die was then used to cut out a butterfly using some vellum. These were then layered onto the card with 3D glue before adding some further stamping around the fairy using one of the stamps from the set and a range of Versafine Clair inks (Cheerful/Lilac Bloom/Baby Pink/Summertime/Warm Breeze/Verdant).

The sentiment from the ‘Enchanted Fairy’ stamp set was then stamped onto a piece of card using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink and heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. Some ‘Kitsch Flamingo’ distress ink was then used to edge the sentiment before being stuck onto black card.

Finally, the sentiment, Ranger glossy accents, some wink of stella glitter pen and small sparkly gems were added for interest. I thoroughly enjoyed making this card for the ATC swap this month. Thanks Jane Tyrrell for another brilliant VI ATC swap.
