Magical Unicorn

 

There’s something special about unicorns and this new ‘Magical Unicorn’ stamp set from Visible Image is perfect for those mystical and magical cards.

To get started I sprayed a piece of white card with ‘Tumbled Glass’ and ‘Kitsch Flamingo’ distress spray stain before sprinkling with water. I then edged the card with ‘Shaded Lilac’ distress ink before stamping the main unicorn image from the stamp set into the centre of the card using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink. I then heat embossed the image with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder before colouring in with a Posca white acrylic paint pen and bright pink Zig color brush pen. Some Wow disco ball embossing powder was added for extra sparkle. The ‘Magical’ sentiment from the stamp set was then added alongside the unicorn using the same black ink as before.

Next up, I stamped the 3 smaller unicorns from the stamp set along the bottom of the card using Versamark before heat embossing with Wow opaque bright white embossing powder. I then went around the edge of the card with the edge of the large unicorn stamp using Versafine Clair ‘Charming Pink’ ink. The circles were coloured in using wink of stella pen and a white colouring pencil.

Finally, the background was mounted onto black card and a white card blank before some white paint flicks and gems were added for that extra glamour.
