Flora and Fauna - March 2024 Visible Image ATC Swap

It’s officially Spring here in the UK so I’m hopping onto the socials to share my latest ATC made for the March ATC swap over on the Visible Image Facebook page. The theme this month is ‘Flora and Fauna’. I’ve used ‘Happy Bunny’ and the new ‘Create Happiness’ and ‘Birthday in Bloom’ stamp sets.

For the ATC I sprayed a piece of white card with ‘Blueprint Sketch’ and ‘Tumbled Glass’ distress spray stain before spritzing with water. I then used Versafine Clair ‘Warm Breeze’ to stamp the text from the ‘Create Happiness’ set onto the background. This was followed by one of the small gerberas from the ‘Birthday in Bloom’ set being stamped out randomly using Hero Arts ‘Unicorn’ white pigment ink. I then stamped the sentiment from ‘Create Happiness’ and the main rabbit from the ‘Happy Bunny’ set on the ATC using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink before heat embossing with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder.

The bunny was then stamped out again on another piece of white card using the same ink and embossing powder. This was coloured in using colouring pencils before being fussy cut out and stuck to the ATC.

Finally, some white gel pen was used to highlight the sentiment. Some small coloured gems and a small yellow ribbon were also placed on for added dimension. Thanks to Jane Tyrrell for organising another fantastic swap.

The sun may be hiding today but it’s officially spring here in the UK. I’ve got lots of blossom on the trees in the garden and this inspired the card I made to be sent with the ATC I made for the March swap over on the Visible Image Facebook page. The theme this month is ‘Flora and Fauna’. I’ve used ‘Happy Bunny’ and the new ‘Create Happiness’ and ‘Birthday in Bloom’ stamp sets, as well as the ‘Broken Mesh’ die.

To get started I sprayed a piece of white card with ‘Blueprint Sketch’ and ‘Tumbled Glass’ distress spray stain before spritzing with water. I then used Versafine Clair ‘Warm Breeze’ to stamp the text from the ‘Create Happiness’ set onto the background. This was followed by one of the small gerberas from the ‘Birthday in Bloom’ set being stamped out randomly using Hero Arts ‘Unicorn’ white pigment ink. I then stamped the sentiment onto a small piece of card, plus the main rabbit from the ‘Happy Bunny’ set using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink before heat embossing with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder.

I then added some of the gerberas from the ‘Birthday in Bloom’ stamp set around the edge which had been stamped with Versafine Clair ‘Cheerful’ yellow ink and heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder and coloured with ‘Squeezed Lemonade’ distress ink. The ‘Broken Mesh’ die cut was then cut into pieces and stuck onto the card for added dimension.

Finally, some small coloured gems and a small yellow ribbon were also placed on for added dimension. Thanks to Jane Tyrrell for organising another fantastic swap this month – I can’t wait until next time!
