Snowflake Grunge
For the background I dipped a piece of white card into ‘Iced Spruce’, ‘Speckled Egg’ and ‘Tumbled Glass’ distress spray stain that had been sprayed with water. Once dried, I splattered ‘Speckled Egg’ distress oxide spray over the card. The edges were then blended with ‘Iced Spuce’ distress ink. I then took the ‘Grunge Christmas Words’ and inked them up with Versafine Clair ‘Twilight’ ink. The text was then stamped onto the background in various places (2nd generation).
Next up, the main snowflake from the ‘Snowflake Grunge’ set was stamped onto the card using Versamark and heat embossed with Wow superfine opaque bright white embossing powder. Some 'Uncharted Mariner' distress ink was brushed over the top to make the image pop.This was then coloured in with white coloured pencil and Wink of Stella pen. I then added the small snowflake medley from ‘Snowflake Grunge’ around the edge of the card in the same Versafine ink.
On a small piece of card coloured with ‘Uncharted Mariner’ distress ink I then stamped the sentiment from the ‘Christmas Wishes’ stamp set with Versamark. This was heat embossed with Wow superfine opaque superfine bright white embossing powder. The sentiment was then mounted onto some white card and added to the background using 3D mounts.
Finally, the background was put onto silver metallic card and a white card blank before some gems were added for a little sparkle. A wintry and frosty inspired Christmas card for the festive season all ready for getting in the post early!
