Visible Image ATC Swap

‘Summer Vibes’ was August’s ATC swap challenge over on the Visible Image Facebook group. I took inspiration from the bright light the sun provides over the summer months. I really enjoyed this theme and used a range of products including ‘Creative Chaos’, ‘Transmission Glitch’, ‘Random Art of Kindness’ and the ‘Spring Awakening’ stamp sets alongside the ‘Flower INK’ stencil.

To begin with I dipped an ATC sized piece of white card into ‘Saltwater Taffy’, ‘Salvaged Patina’, ‘Kitsch Flamingo’ and ‘Shaded Lilac’ distress inks that had been spritzed with water. I then stamped some of the elements from ‘Transmission Glitch’ and ‘Spring Awakening’ in the same colours. I then blended some ‘Salvaged Patina’ distress ink through a small part of the ‘Flower Ink’ stencil.
 
The flower from the ‘Creative Chaos’ set was then stamped onto the ATC using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink and heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. The flower head was then stamped in the same way onto a separate piece of card and fussy cut out before being placed onto the ATC using 3D mounts. The flower sentiment from the ‘Random Art of Kindness’ was then added using the same black ink.

Finally, some water droplet gems were glued onto the ATC. A lovely summery craft to do this summer.

Card

For the card I sent accompanying the ATC I used ‘Creative Chaos’, ‘Transmission Glitch’, ‘Random Art of Kindness’ and the ‘Spring Awakening’ stamp sets.
