Oz Scarecrow
For this make I’ve teamed up the ‘Oz
Scarecrow’ stamps and dies alongside the ‘Birthday Wishes’ stamp set, plus the
‘Branch Out’ and ‘Bubbles & Fizz’ stencils all by Visible Image.
For the background I took the mask from the ‘Bubbles & Fizz’ stencil and blended ‘Stormy Sky’ distress ink around it onto a piece of white card. I then edged the card in the same colour. Next, I placed the ‘Branch Out’ stencil over the top of the moon and brushed ‘Chipped Sapphire’ through it before adding to the edge of the card to deepen the sky effect. A bit of sparkle was added to the moon using a Wink of Stella brush. The sentiment was then stamped onto the card using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink and heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder.
The ‘Oz Scarecrow’ images were then stamped onto a separate piece of card using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink and heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. These were then die cut out and coloured with Zig color clean brushes.
Finally, the background was put onto black card and a white card blank before the elements were added with 3D mounts. A perfect masculine card for those Autumn birthdays!
