No Filter

Some days you need a card to cheer up a friend - so for this make I’ve headed straight for my Visible Image Stamps. I’ve chosen ‘No Filter’, the ‘VI Minis #1’, ‘Live Life Now’ and ‘Background Vision’ stamp sets alongside the ‘Ripped Fishnet’ stencil.

For the background, the main image from ‘No Filter’ was stamped onto a piece of white card using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink and heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. I then repeated this for one of the elements from the ‘Background Vision’ stamp set. I then dipped the card into ‘Saltwater Taffy’, ‘Kitsch Flamingo’ and ‘Salvaged Patina’ distress oxides that had been smooshed onto a craft mat with lots of water. This was then dried with a heat gun.
 
The background butterflies from the ‘Vi Minis #1’ were then stamped onto the background using Versafine Clair ‘Warm Breeze’ ink (2^nd generation). Before ‘Salvaged Patina’ distress oxide was blended through the ‘Ripped Fishnet’ stencil. This was repeated using ‘Saltwater Taffy’ distress ink and ‘Saltwater Taffy’ distress oxide. The flutter of butterflies from the ‘Live Life Now’ set was then stamped using Versamark and heat embossed with Wow opaque bright white superfine embossing powder.  The hashtag sentiment was then stamped using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ ink.
 
Finally, the background was put onto black card and a white card blank before some sparkle was added using a Wink of Stella glitter pen and some gems. A butterfly from the ‘Vi Minis #1’ set coloured with Zig clean color brushes was then glued into place to finish the card.
