Make Some Noise Card
To begin, I took a white piece of card and smooshed it into ‘Walnut Stain’, ‘Rusty Hinge’ and ‘Vintage Photo’ distress oxides before spraying with water. After drying with a heat gun some ‘Salvaged Patina’ distress oxide spray was splattered over the background. Up next, the main focal image from the ‘Make Some Noise’ stamp set was stamped onto the card using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ ink and heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder. Another image of the drummer was stamped onto another piece of white card and coloured in using the Visible Image chameleon watercolour pan set.
Other elements from the stamp set were either stamped around the edge of the background or around the main images using the same black ink. The centre of the card background was then covered in ‘Antique Linen’ distress oxide before some Distress micro glaze was smeared over the surface of the card. To make the card even more grungy some tears were added to the edges of the card.
The sentiments from the same stamp set were then stamped onto black card using Versamark and heat embossed with Wow superfine opaque bright white embossing powder. This was mounted onto a small piece of white card.
Finally, the background was added to some black card and a white card blank. The sentiments were added to the card using 3D mounts. Some embroidery thread, sequins and gems finish off the birthday card.
