Birthday Celebration

It’s time to hang up balloons and get those party hats on for this amazing exclusive release from Visible Image and Hobbymaker TV. Lots of glitter and sparkle on this one-layer creation using the new ‘Birthday Celebration’ stamp set and ‘All Stars’ stencil.

To get started I dropped some Jane Davenport Starpower inks in ‘Ginger’, ‘Doris’ and ‘Lucille’ onto a craft mat and spritzed with water before dipping a piece of white card into it. This was then dried with a heat gun. I love how the mica glistens in these inks. The background was then edged with ‘Saltwater taffy’ distress ink.

Next up I placed the ‘All Stars’ stencil onto the background and sponged PaperArtsy ‘Snowflake’ white fresco pain through it. Once dried, I took the small hats and party popper stamps and stamped them all over the background using Versafine Clair ‘Charming Pink’ and ‘Summertime’ orange ink as well as Hero Arts Unicorn pigment ink.

For the sentiment I stamped this direct onto the background using Versafine Clair ‘Nocturne’ black ink and then heat embossed with Wow superfine clear gloss embossing powder.

Finally, the background was mounted onto black card and a white card blank. A quick and easy birthday card to make for anyone who loves a bit of sparkle.
